Aquabot Bravo no longer working - power supply issue?

Hi all,

My six year old Aquabot Bravo has stopped working. When I press the button on the power supply, it kicks into gear like all is well, but then the robot power gets weak and is barely pumping water. After about a minute or two, it totally stops and the power supply turns off.

Any thoughts? Bad power supply I'm guessing -- but wondering if I can rig it to bypass the timer (if maybe it's a bad timer?). Any advice appreciated! Thanks!
