Aquabot Drive Motor Repair and Oil

by Steve
(NJ)

I opened up my drive motor and saw that the gear was worn out. So I changed the gear with another one from another aquabot. W
hen putting back the motor I came across one of the green wires that attach to the bottom of the case with the two small nuts came off the motor. Now I can't see where the green wire goes. the one green wire is on the part with the red wire. Can someone help me on this.? Also what kind of oil can I use in the drive motor case I spilled some out?
ADMIN REPLY; The wires in the terminal well are pre-sized to the appropriate terminal. Two pump wires and two power cable wires. Does this describe your machine or do you have several motors?
The motor uses 30 weight automotive oil.
