Aquabot Drive motor will not work but jet pump still functions

Can i get a drive motor for the aquabot that is under $400, the drive motor circuit board is corroded and looks like it needs to be replaced. how does this thing work? Can i clean the board and check the motor to see if it works? (just a little note when the thing was powered up outside the pool i saw sparks inside the box before i opened the top plate and discovered it was filled with oil. Can this be saved??? and what kind of oil is this?? Why do they put oil in this drive motor assembly? This thing is cool and i would like to get it working again. Click here to read or post comments.
