Aquabot Extreme no longer follows cleaning pattern

I have the exact same issue. Still cleans, climbs walls but now cleans mainly the width of the pool which is the flattest area and seems to avoid going the length of the pool which is the hilly part. It can not be due to the suction since it climbs the walls well. It seems to me that it could be the drive tracks or brushes since they are pretty warn but before I invest there, I wanted to be sure.

Be certain the Float attached to the cable is submerging with the robot. The float provides the tilt to the robot to alter the pattern.
