Aquabot pool rover control box lights flashing won't come on or move.

We have had the pool rover for two seasons. Put in pool yesterday and it worked for a few minutes then the lights on the control box started flashing and it stopped. Opened it up and cleaned the bags. No obstruction in the motor or anything. Can't find the problem. Any suggestions?
