Not reversing by: CF
I called the manufacturer and they told me to replace the belts. I did it and it worked for a while, but then it reverted back to only going in one direction.
I need some help......Thanks

Worst Purchase by: Anonymous
The Aquabot Turbo is probably the worst purchase I ever made. Replaced many parts the first year, and needed to buy a motor and have it installed two months after warranty expired. Very disappointed!

Still covered by warranty? by: Anonymous
Hi, if the robot is under a year old isn't it still covered by the the manufacturer. A one year warranty seems standard.
Are you certain the motor is NOT reversing. Could be a belts, bushings, pulleys problem too.

I FEEL YOUR PAIN by: Jason
I have the exact same problem. My unit is under a year old. Spoke with customer service and the guy suggested that I add 9oz of weight to the unit, but don't worry that doesn't work. I hate to spend another $300 on a 10 month old unit, but hey they already got us for a grand.... RIGHT!
I feel your pain.

Tough problem by: Curt
The motor works so the problem seems to be in the circuit board, my guess is the logic chip.
I am not aware of a mercury switch in the motor. If it were my robot, I would buy a new motor, about $245.00 at Aquabots.com
Save the old one for parts or maybe a visitor to this site would be interested in buying it from you for the gear assembly.
