Comment The motor works so the problem seems to be in the circuit board, my guess is the logic chip. I am not aware of a mercury switch in the motor. If it were my robot, I would buy a new motor, about $245.00 at <a href="http://www.aquabots.com/displayparts.asp?ab=5">Aquabots.com</a> Save the old one for parts or maybe a visitor to this site would be interested in buying it from you for the gear assembly. Contact Aqua products and get their opinion.
