Bag Won't Trap Leaves

When my dolphin picks up leaves, they do not go into the bag, instead they up into the motor and you can see them sticking out of the top of the unit. I've taken it back to Leslie's multiple times and they can't fix it. Help!

I have had mine for years. After rebuilding from the chassis up and replacing bag, It now will not fill bag but as stated fill up around pump and Clogging impeller. How does the water flow through this machine. Leaves etc are by passing the bag

Mine is doing the same thing and IT’S NOT THE BAG. My bag hasn’t changed. It’s easy to install. I have had this for 5 years. It’s something else.

The bag may be installed wrong causing the motor to push up the sides.

My dolphin began doing the same thing. Leslie’s has had it three times and can’t figure out why the leaves are going around the bag and on top. There are no holes in the bag and the top is always full of debris.

If the bag is not snug on the bottom plate then the pump will pull it up and off so debris will escape.

Like the other person said, my dolphin deluxe 4 is taking leaves in the motor area and plugging up the impeller. The bag is on correct and I just had new wheels put on. The band on the bag broke off a while back. Really wired. The leaves aren't going in the bag.

Be certain the bag is oriented correctly or it will ride up the wire retainer leaving a gap. The bag only goes on one way.

my dolphin sucks up debris but does not go in the bag it goes to the outside and i have no tears in my bag this starting happening only after we replaced the guide wheels help please

You may have a small hole in the bag or the bag is loose on the bag-mount. OR the bag is not on correctly. The bag only goes on one way. If it is on wrong then it won't go around the motors without it riding up the wire.
