Dolphin Cable Removal

The housing is cracked on my Dolphin Diagnostic Advantage cleaner. I have located a replacement. What I need to know is how to get the power cord thru the new housing from the inside to outside. I do not want to cut the cord if at all possible.. If I do, should it be cut near the power supply and rewired(this seems the easiest way. Also there was a packet of what looked like moisture control beads inside the unit. Do I need to replace this. I can read the schematics and have had electrical repair education courses. I just can't find the troubleshooting/repair manual for this unit.

ADMIN REPLY: Was the page showing cable removal not helpful? Disconnect the cable from the motor.
