Dolphin Diagnostic works intermittently

My Dolphin Diagnostic works intermittently. It sometimes starts up immediately when put in the water and other times sits there and does nothing ( no spinning of the propeller at the top) I cleaned out the bag and put it back in the water and still nothing. Any advice?

ADMIN REPLY: You may have a broken wire in the cable. When both pump and drive motor are not working odds are the electric supply. Covered in troubleshooting
