Dolphin diagnostics 2001 will not move

I borrowed this from a friend to clean my pool. I only used it 2 days. Day 3, the power light comes on on power supply box, but the cleaner does nothing! The bag was cleaned out. There was nothing but algae in my pool. It is a 500sqft rectangular pool. My dad said it wouldn't start at first the day prior. He had to move the cord around (cord from power supply to cleaner.) He thought a fuse had blown first, but by reading about issues, the power shouldn't come on if the fuse is blown (or maybe I'm wrong.) Now, I'm wondering if it's a cable cord issue.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!

Update...it worked fine, but the next day, the pool vacuum worked for about an hour, then shut off. It hasn't worked since.

It has been checked for debris. The power supply box lights up. Is there anyway to tell for sure if the motor has burned out?

Thanks! We got it working. We took the belt off and moved brushes some both ways. Originally, there waa a clicking noise. Troubleshooting said the brushes should move freely. We put the belt back on, and the pool vacuum worked.

There are many things that need to be checked, the plug and the cable must be check to see if power is getting to the motors.

Take the robot to a competent service center.
