Dolphin Plus Cleaner

I cannot recommend the Dolphin Plus cleaner (Maytronics). It's expensive ($1350 in 2005), quit working in 2 years time, cost $118 to have packaged and shipped to eworks Orlando FL for repair; got estimate of $385 to repair.

This is $1800+ in 2 years and it does no better job (in fact is more messy) than much less expensive models, plus you have to lift it out of the pool (dropping debris as you do) and re-start after each cycle, so cannot leave it running when away from home for several days. The idea of not tying up a skimmer or return sounded good but I've been very disappointed in both the product and the lack of support for their product. I would not recommend this cleaner to anyone.
