Dolphin Pool Cleaner Sucks dont buy one. Company does not Honor Warranty

The first one i bought wouldn't go up walls and was intermittent so i brought it back the second day and they told me they never had this problem. Well i did here. Have it back after being talked down to at Leslie pool supplies, sav GA. I swapped out for new one it worked yeah! operator error my.... now a few months down the road it began doing the intermittent thing but it worked. Year later, it stopped dead. Back to Leslie pool supply. High turn over clue -less personal... might as well ask my dog ! after trouble shooting found power pack inoperable ! Question: dc 24 volt nominal as it says on pack, but true output is 29v how is that possible ? can old power pack be swapped out with new power pack ? which has 115 180 w 29 v with old 115 150w 24v where do i buy new power pack since you wont cover warranty and yes fuse is fine i have 2 years left and will file law suit anyone like to jump on board for class action ?

by: Anonymous

I suspect the timer is at fault here. My unit is sealed so they say .so I removed the sealant with a drill bit ,found 4 screws removed them .Now I'm on the inside of the power supply and now I'm going to disconnect the timer easy.By the maytronics are hopeless. They told me to buy a new one ,as if....poo

Maytronic Class action Lawsuit?
by: Gil

I have the same problems listed above. Stays in the deep end, gets stuck on the main drain etc. I can deal with the diaper clean but really, if it's stuck in one spot why bother using it? I contacted Maytronic and they acted as though they were going to send me covers for the Hayward main drains. AFTER A RUN AROUND THEY SENT ME TO A WEB SITE WHERE FOR 120 DOLLARS I COULD PURCHASE 2 COVERS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT WORK!!! I can buy a 3 dollar toy car that can avoid objects so I cannot blame Haywards drain design. Anyone interested in starting a class action lawsuit contact me. Who knows, we might get some money back. Don't Buy One
by: Anonymous

I would never buy this cleaner again.
Poor design requires you to be there to start and stop. Can't use a timer. Diaper filter requires a lot of work to clean it out every time you use it. Does not climb walls or steps and stays down the deep end even with new filter and following trouble shooting recommendations. Gets caught on wall stairs and bottom suction ports. Very disappointed.

I Second The Motion
by: Jerry Foster

These cleaners are junk and not worth the price. To fix them it costs as much as a new one. They wont sell the parts so you can fix them yourself. Save your money friends.

Dolphin Starts and Stops
by: rody

I have contacted Maytronics with no answer. Mine starts and stops 30-45 seconds and the pool center I took it to stated it is the motor. $799.00 for a motor. Are you kidding me...I think class action against a company that only provides a # to Israel is in order.
