Dolphin Pool Cleaner won'tRun More than 30 seconds

I have a Dolphin cleaner for our pool. Just recently it stopped working correctly. I can turn it on but it won't clean the whole pool - only about30 seconds. I can restart it but it does the same thing over again. Any ideas out there?

My Diagnostic did this same thing after 4 years.
Cleaned it top to bottom and checked everything and no results. Finally a fix. The trash man picked it up and my problem was resolved.

At the end of the season last year it run OK, but this year when I used it the first time it run for about 10 minutes and quit. I unplugged it and plugged it in again and this time it run for only 5 minutes and quit. Tried it several times and it will not run for more than 30 seconds. I took the vacuum cleaner apart and found some debris and put it together and it run for only 30 seconds and quit. It finally quit completely and will not move. I checked the power supply and it had the 21 Volts AC that was listed. I took the other end of the cable that goes to the cleaner and the 21 VAC was there. I saw what looked like oxidation on the terminals on the motor unit. Cleaned the terminals and it run back to normal.

I had the same issue and was concerned when I saw some if the issues in this post. Luckily for me, I took apart the side enclosures of the belts and found a small build up of weed (thumb sized) in one of the cogs. Once I removed this, the cleaner worked fine.

No you can not purchas the CKT board. I had to purchase a second one and after two years it started to do the same thing. I will NEVER buy another one.

Mine has the same problem. Runs for about 30-45 seconds. I confirmed that the voltage is there and it is. I have taken the inside housing apart and there is no water and nothing appears to be burnt on the CKT board. This is the second unit I have and this one was repaired the beginning of last year. I detach the power cord from transformer and it does it all over again. How did you fix yours?

Can I just purchase a new board??
