Bronze bushings
by: Anonymous

You need to check. The reason for not using bronze or brass is that pool chlorine will deteriorate it.

Thanks

Years later but I see that the site for the bushings still exists. Can anyone confirm that the part number is still the same? Thanks for the help!

Motor shaft gear
by: Ian

I believe the gear is pressed on or shrunk on the motor shaft -- I did not attempt to remove it as I did not have a replacement gear.

pressed on
by: Anonymous

I believe the small gear at the end of the motor shaft is pressed on. It can be pried off and there is no set screw.

motor gear
by: Anonymous

How is the first gear attached to the motor shaft? My gear is not engaged to the shaft and I don't see how it was done originally. I don't see threads or a key so I'm looking for advice on how to stake the gear to the shaft. Any ideas are welcome.
