Same as Drive Motor?
by: Anonymous

Thanks! I read on this site that the Drive motor takes 30 wt non-detergent motor oil, mineral oil, or compressor oil, but I was not sure if was the same for the pump motor. Thanks again.

Aquabot Pump Oil
by: Anonymous

Takes about 3/4 cup of either 30 weight NON-detergent motor oil, compressor oil or mineral oil.

Careful opening the casing, it is sealed by a gasket at both ends. The pump housing is actually three pieces. take the top off in a bucket or over a bowl just in case the entire case slides off the motor.

I did it too!
by: John

I did the same thing. I removed those screws and the oil leaked out. I lost some of it. Can anyone tell me what type of oil goes in the pump motor, and how much is supposed to be in there? Thanks
