My Dolphin Diagnostic keeps cleaning in the same section of the pool

My Dolphin Diagnostic keeps cleaning in the same section of the pool - the deep end. To get it to clean the shallow end I have to pull it by the electrical cord and try to guide it with same. It is a real pain. What can I do to get it to clean all over the pool. I have to run it nearly all day and then when I look at it, I can see only a few of its tracks in the shallow end and a fairly clean deep end. That is, except for the corners. It likes to go up to the surface and down again within about the same area. It doesn't seem to want to change its groove.
