Power cable chewed in half

My sweet new dog chewed my power supply cable in half. Can the cable itself be purchased?? I tried splicing it back together with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

For your info, I just repaired my cable (one conductor was cut inside).
It is quite easy using soldering , thermoretractable (heat-shrinkable sheat or gasket)and a lot of patience.
