Transformer works
by: Curt

...if you are getting 35 volts.
The original problem was starting the transformer and having to wedge a toothpick to hold the start button.
You can either replace the start button or bypass it, then use only the ON/OFF switch to start. The start button is there to prevent accidental robot starts.

Power Supply Working?
by: Shad Enroughty

I have a three wire plug but only two wires coming out (White and Brown, two outer ports of the plug). I have positive continuity from female plug to behind the plug (the plug looked burnt, discolored some. I checked output on power supply and i'm getting 35 volts out of it. I guess, my next step is to check current at the motor. It appears the power supply is working. I'll order the push button as u advised and check 35 volts at the motor also.

Thanks for all your help
Shad

Reset Button
by: Anonymous

Hi Shad, Sounds like the reset button is bad. This button prevents accidental start-up.
Buy a replacement at www.aquaqualitypools.com.
The transformer puts out ABOUT 35 Volts A/C.
