Algae

Suction doesn't seem powerful enough to clean the algae even with me brushing many spots and corners. Are the other more accordion looking filters better for fine particles? Gotta say so far a much cheaper Kreepy Krawlie cleaned much better (but runs through the filter). Advice?

Adequate Chlorine
by: ADMIN

Adequate chlorine should prevent algae. Chlorine needs to be 1ppm per 1ppm stabilizer.

These robots will not remove algae from a porous wall! Only a brush and elbow grease will remove algae from most pool walls.

Get Rid of the Algae

The first question is why do you have algae? Keep adequate chlorine.
2 big adverse reactions to chlorine...very high pH will inhibit sanitizing. Keep pH below 7.6
Too much stabilizer (cyanuric acid) will hurt sanitizing. Maintain 1 ppm free chlorine for every 10ppm stabilizer.
