Aquabot box

So my aquabot is about 5 years old. This year the aquabot stopped climbing and reversing, got it checked out and it worked fine with another box. When I plug it into my box it doesn't climb, different one works like its brand new. My question is: is there something that can be fixed or am I better off buying a new one?
ADMIN REPLY: "Box" is the power supply transformer?
I would check the voltage (vac)at the power supply outlet. Voltage should be an approximately constant 35 volts a/c. Problem could be the outlet on the "box" or the timer. Both are available for replacement.
Seems the robot is OK since it works with a different power supply.
