Aquabot AJET122 Pool Rover S2-50 Robotic Pool Cleaner for Above-Ground
by: Anonymous

2/28/22 Tried to use my aquabot for the first time this season, it ran about 5 seconds and quit. The 2 light started blinking. Took cover off and the underside where the motor is had several dead frogs in it and was wrapped around the propeller. So I cleaned the propeller and oiled them and it is working now. I hope this helps someone else.
Thanks

by: David

Last 2 days before closing pool --- both lrge/small lights flashing. Bot stops working. Hit stop button, small light went out and bot started moving. After 1 minute, both lights again began blinking, bot stops----repeat,repeat process, same outcome. WHAT IS COMPANY CUSOMER SATISFACTION SOLUTION?

AquaProducts SK11 power supply
by: Larry

Same issue as most everyone else. Bought a new SK11 power supply (last year kids left previous power supply out in rain---ug); plugged Cyclone Scrubber into power supply turned it on, selected "large" and Bot ran for three seconds, then I could hear a "click" at the power supply, then both "small" and "large" pool lights flashed three times constantly; unplugged and restarted whole process again with same result. Bot worked fine last year so don't think it is a problem with the Bot. Thanks for any new insights.

I have the same problem as a lot of other people. Unit runs for a few minutes then stops and both lights on power supply are flashing. Has anybody figured out what the problem is?

POS
by: TMT

I'e had this Pura 4X two years now. In this past spring, the motor died in the unit and it was still under warranty. Motor was replaced and it worked for 2 weeks. Motor is OK. The controller is defective. I bought a new controller and it lasted 2 months. I think the replacement motor overloads the control boxes and they give up. I am a retired electronics engineer and I opened the control box. I know what I'm looking at. Nice looking printed circuit board, but I have no drawings or information on this unit to proceed trouble shooting. There is nothing obviously wrong or blown in either box. So I'm retiring this "piece of junk" to be polite, and replacing it with a different manufacturer.

Blinking LEDs
by: BudBuono

This device is a nightmare inflicted on the American pool owners by incompetent Chinese manufactures. My Aquabot is barely 4 months old and it has already F'd Up.

Timer replacement
by: ADMIN

The timer can be purchased at
http://www.aquaqualitypools.com/parts_list_aqua_products_pool_rover_plus.htm

I believe the timer is secured with 2 screws. Pull the timer away from the case. The wires must be cut and reconnected with insulated butt connectors.

If in fact I need a timer, where would I purchase one? Is this something I can replace myself?

Timer
by: ADMIN

If you don't have power at the outlet (where the robot plugs into the box) Chances are really really good you need a new timer.

Im having the same issue. My aquabot will run fine for 10-15 seconds then the LEDs start flashing and the aquabot stops working. It seems it just needs to be reset but I have no idea how you do this with no visible reset options. Please help!

Powr cable short?
by: ADMIN

I am guessing the power cable may have a short but can't say for sure. Your best option is contacting Aqua Quality Pools and Spas.
