Aquabot problem

The clean filter light comes on and the Aquabot won’t work. The filter is clean, but I can’t clear the light. Can I use a 2 pin power supply from an older machine with a 4 pin Aquabot by modifying the plug? How can I clear this light from my current power supply so the Aquabot will work again ?

You didn't mention the model. $ pin robots are either DC or remote control. DO NOT use an AC power supply on a DC machine
