AquaClean sucking from top and blowing from the bottom?

So my bot appears to suck from the top downwards, and blows out through the bottom, so hard in fact it dislodges the clips that hold the tray/filter bag in. Is it possible the polarity somehow reversed on the motor? Is there an easy fix?
