Dolphin Cable is always twisted

My line is always tangled in knots , how do you keep it straight ?

ADMIN REPLY:This topic is covered on the site. To recap..ALWAYS re-coil the cable starting at the robot so the cable can unwind as the plug end draws nearer.

NEVER heap the cable in a pile. After sitting in the hot sun and then heaped into a twisted pile to cool...then a twisted pile is what you end up with

Lay the cord in a straight line in the hot Sun for about 6 hour. Reconnect and leave in the pool! We have had ours about 6 years, we only take it out when someone swims or we clean it. We never coil the line up

I took it right out of the box the first time, and I've always wound my cord properly. Still twists, then gets stuck in a corner turning and turning. Now trying to figure out how to move the float. Seems to be stuck right where it is. Is there some kind if sheath that can be put on the cord to keep it from twisting? Yes, frustrating!

from the first time i used it and coiled the cord around a deck chair, it has tangled. the cleaner works great but the cord is terrible. i dont see anywhere , where i can buy a new cord.

you could never take the 60 seconds to properly recoil the cord and just heaped the cable into a twisted pile.

Can't clean past 4 ft due to constant tangled cord!! I'm so frustrated from disconnecting it laying the cord out.... within minutes it's TANGLED; my deep end never gets cleaned. Maytronics is no help! Now the power box is shutting off on its own! Ive only owned it 1 year. Calling BBB!

Actually all you do is change the diagnal position of the float arm the opposite way each cycle
