Dolphin question In or Out of Pool storage

Which is better or worse to leave the robot it in the chlorine pool where it can dry out because of chemical or leave it out of the pool in the hot sun to dry out? Its seems both is bad. Which do y recomend to prolong life?

If the motor box gets any water leaking into it, kiss the robot goodbye. This box is subject to considerable water pressure.

I have left my dolphin in the pool for over six years and other than a little fading it has not been operationally affected. If you know anything about plastics, ultra-violet rays are it's worst enemy. Keep it out of direct sunlight.
