Fixed my Pool Rover Jr.

by Thomas

Someone(!) let the thermometer drop to the bottom of the pool. I let the Pool Rover run without noticing the item laying on the bottom. The string got sucked up into the Rover and caused the impeller to be pulled off the shaft. The way this thing is put together is very aggravating, but I was able to figure it out, and luckily I had the proper tools to loosen the motor housing so that the motor shaft was accessible. I pressed the impeller back on, put it back together and tightened the screws. It works like a champ again! This Pool Rover is over 10 years old and works great still. I have purchased replacement filter bags, but that's all. I really wish they still made them as well as the old ones.
