My Aquabot Turbo T-Jet Motor Blunder

I opened the motor cover on my Aquabot Turbo T-Jet Robotic Pool Cleaner and now cannot screw the pins back into the mount. I did so thinking because I wanted to install a new cable assembly and head read on a different site that I had to partially opened the cover to install a new cable assembly...long story short, I did not need to remove the cover at all and now I can't reinsert the 4 screws into the mount tightly. The label on top of the motor clearly warns you to "Not Remove Cover..." Can I Fix this Blunder?
