My Bravo is sucking in water from the top vs the bottom

Hello,

I have an Aquabot Bravo (2005). The pump just started working in reverse. It is sucking water from the top vs pushing it out. The drive motor works, but it won't climb the walls because the flow of the water. Has anyone experienced this before?
