My Classice Aquabot Terminal Box????

I'm pretty handy. So I ordered a replacement cord to replace cord that rat's severed this past winter only a few feet from 'bot. My terminal "box" is nothing like the one in parts diagram or repair instructions. It is round with a cover disc plate facing into 'bot towards drive motor. Almost impossible to get plate off without moving drive motor. Aren't there any up to date instructions? I bought the Aquabot new about 4 years ago to replace very old one.
