transformer problem

transformer hums when turned on then trips circuit breaker(switch) and shuts off. it will do this when robot is not connected. I opened up the yellow box and nothing burned or out of place . any suggestions?

ADMIN REPLY: Could be a bad socket or on/off switch. Could be a bad electronics card in the transformer. The transformer works, one of it's components does not.
