Type of servo used in Maytronics 9995387-ASSY - Dolphin S200

Hello, my Dolphin used to work very well until after cleaning and back in the water it starts for a minute then stops. I cleaned the impeller and the rest, still stops. I noticed that the motor for directing the jet was jammed. I opened the motor unit casing to inspect the motor. In fact the motor is a servo, there is a burn mark on the plastic casing and it is blocked. What I don't know is which type of servo it is because all the marking on it have been conveniently removed. Would it be a Servo Motor MG996R 180º?

Michel,
Thank you for posting this and for identifying the MG996R servo motor as the correct one. You helped me solve this issue without buying a new motor assembly.

Hi there, yes I did fix the servo problem. I purchased a MG996R 180º servo from a local RC store to replace the burned one. Once everything reassembled you have to leave the robot on his back and switch it on. It makes a kind of resset then back to the pool. Works fine till now 😁
