debris comes out of the back of the cleaner.Dolphin Nautilus CC CleverClean

Machine, Dolphin Nautilus CC CleverClean Robotic Cleaner, Serial # Q8336MCAI, picks up fine debris at the bottom of pool, but debris comes out of the back of the cleaner. Newly purchased and filter is not containing the debris. Is there a solution or is machine in some way defective?
