Dolphin Nautilus Pool Sweep

I have a Dolphin Nautilus pool sweeps and have had Leslie Pool work on it now for 3 times, they have replaced the motor, controller and power cord but it is still not operating correctly. It will run fine as long as its flat on the bottom of the pool but once it gets on its side, it can not go back flat again and will stop, I have to get it back up right to work again.

I'm wondering if there is some type of weight or float that they may have left out that's throwing the balance off?

Has anyone else seen this problem and if so, what is the fix?

Thanks for any help!

Pump Suction
by: ADMIN

The only time I have ever seen a robot flip over is when pump suction is gone. The most obvious culprit is a bad pump motor diagnosed as easily as seeing if the impeller is spinning. Other lesser causes are debris jammed around the impeller stopping the free flow of water OR a seriously badly clogged bag OR flaps on the bottom plate that are stuck in the closed position.

Pump suction keeps the robot pinned to the floor and wall, without it the rovot will flip.
