it starts goes 5 inches , changes goes back 5 inches and stops.....

i just put my robot in the pool and as stated it only goes to the front for few inches , then goes back the same and suddenly stops , not moving any more........wonder what'/s the problem.......
ADMIN REPLY: Best case scenario would have something wedged in the tread at the drive gear behind the sideplate. Otherwise...not good
