Maytronics Dolphin Pump Not Working

I have a Dolphin pool cleaner. It turns on and the drive system works, but the propulsion fan seems to be on the fritz. When I initially plug it in it works and then it stops.

What are the steps to trouble shoot this and what are common problems with it?

ADMIN REPLY: This could be a problem with the pump motor itself. There are no motors available from Maytronics. If you wish to open the case and try a repair you can send a request to service@nastybag.com and ask for a Dolphin pump motor. They have used parts.
