Will Robot cause Holes in Liner?

New liner installed had holes on bottom shallow end only pool man said it was robot,robot fine no sharp objects, possibly liner installed improperly?

ADMIN REPLY: If the robot had sharp, broken edges on the side plates, then a hole may be possible. Ask the pool man to show you what part of the robot made the holes because I really really doubt the robot is responsible.
